From the moment the show began, it was clear that Now You See Me Live wasn’t going to be just another magic show. It is an incredible blend of illusion, theatre, storytelling, comedy and spectacle that keeps you completely engaged from start to finish. Every element is carefully crafted, from the stunning lighting and immersive sound design to the impressive staging and seamless transitions. Everything works together perfectly to create an unforgettable experience that constantly leaves you wondering ‘How did they do that?’

The production introduces you to four phenomenal magicians who come together as the Horsemen, each bringing their own unique style and personality to the stage. Matthew Pomeroy does a fantastic job introducing everyone while delivering mind blowing illusions of his own. His charisma and confidence immediately draw the audience in and set the tone for the evening. Enzo Wayne is simply mesmerising. His stage presence is exceptional, and every performance leaves you questioning reality.

Andrew Basso, known as the ‘real life Harry Houdini,’ delivers an escape act that has the entire theatre holding its breath. It’s one of those performances where you genuinely forget to blink because you’re so invested in what you’re watching. Gabriella Lester is equally captivating, combining elegance with astonishing illusions that leave the audience in complete disbelief. Together, the four Horsemen have fantastic chemistry. Their performances complement one another perfectly and you can tell they’re all exceptional entertainers as well as world-class magicians.

Alongside the Horsemen are three incredibly talented young magicians, all of whom have appeared on Britain’s Got Talent. They each bring something different to the show, making it feel fresh and varied throughout. Rafferty Cooper opens the evening by warming up the audience and he couldn’t be better suited to the role. He’s instantly likeable, full of energy, has brilliant stage presence and gets everyone involved from the very beginning. You can tell he genuinely loves performing and his enthusiasm is infectious.

Eden Choi is astonishing. His sleight of hand is unbelievably fast, so much so that even when you’re watching closely, you still have absolutely no idea how he’s doing it. Every routine is executed flawlessly, leaving the audience gasping and applauding throughout. Fraser Penman also delivers incredible performances that showcase both technical skill and excellent showmanship. Like the rest of the cast, he’s charismatic, engaging and keeps the audience completely captivated.

One of the biggest strengths of the show is just how charismatic every single performer is. Magic alone is impressive, but when it’s combined with personalities that are funny, confident and genuinely entertaining, it becomes something truly special. Every performer knows exactly how to connect with the audience, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, laughter, anticipation and constant amazement.

The end of Act One deserves special mention because it is genuinely one of the most astonishing moments I’ve ever witnessed in a live theatre. The final illusion involving the entire cast left me completely speechless. Looking around the auditorium, everyone else seemed just as stunned. There were jaws on the floor, people looking at each other in disbelief and countless conversations of ‘How on earth did they do that?’ during the interval. It was one of those rare moments where an entire audience shares the exact same feeling of complete amazement.

The production values deserve huge praise too. The lighting, sound, staging, music, visual effects and pacing are all exceptional. Nothing feels out of place, and every technical aspect enhances the magic rather than distracting from it. It’s a brilliantly produced show that feels polished, modern and spectacular from beginning to end.

What also makes Now You See Me Live so enjoyable is that it’s genuinely family friendly. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of magic or someone seeing a live illusion show for the first time, there’s something here for everyone. Children and adults alike were completely absorbed, making it the perfect night out for families, couples, or groups of friends.

Overall, Now You See Me Live exceeds every expectation. It is packed with jaw dropping moments, impossible illusions, incredible performers, and production value that rivals the very best West End shows.
